Rajat Parr and Sashi Moorman founded Sandhi in 2010 to highlight the vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills in Santa Barbara County. This is their flagship Chardonnay, barrel fermented and aged in neutral casks. Apple, pineapple, dried flowers, and vanilla, with salty soil tones. Beautifully balanced, with a flinty minerality. Some more time in bottle will bring out a honeyed texture to contrast the bright freshness.
