The Pezzuoli family has made Lambrusco near Modena since 1932. The soils are flat, fertile, and rich in minerals, giving the wines more body and tannins. Alberto, the 4th generation of winemakers, has moved the 110 hectare estate to more sustainable & organic practices.
From a careful selection of the best estate-grown Lambrusco di Sorbara grapes. Primary fermentation is natural, and secondary fermentation uses the Charmat method to trap the bubbles in pressurized steel tanks, which are then cooled below freezing to halt fermentation so the wine can be bottled.
Fresh, delicate, & beautifully fragrant, with a palate of small red & black berries, cherries, and delicate floral & herbaceous notes. White pepper, violets, & blanched almonds envelop the fine mousse and lively acidity. Perfect for a charcuterie plate, or any Italian fare.
100% Lambrusco di Sorbara. Organic.
