Maison Roche de Bellene is the négociant label of Nicolas Potel from Domaine de Bellene, which focuses on old vine, responsibly farmed wines with distinctly expressive terroir.
From sustainably farmed vineyards in Côte de Beaune & Côte de Nuits on limestone & clay, ranging from 20-50 years. After a brief maceration, native fermentation, & full malo, it ages in neutral French oak on the lees.
Cranberries, brambly raspberries, baking spice, savory herbs, & damp, earthy soil. The light, juicy acidity & young, integrated tannins give this a great texture.
