Domaine de la Pigeade was purchased by the Vaute family in 1960, but sold all the grapes to the local co-op until 1996 when Thierry Vaute took over. Most of their 25 hectares are planted to Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains to make this vin doux natural.
Pleasantly sweet, with aromas of pear, rosewater, & exotic fruits. Concentrated notes of honeydew, white peach, & honeysuckle grace the palate with a fine, balanced minerality.
A perfect companion for strawberry or chocolate desserts, or a bleu cheese plate.
Muscat Blanc. Sustainable.
