From the Hamri (red clay) and ancient sandstone terroir with limestone subsoils and shale of the Zaër region. La Ferme Ruge ("the red farm") was founded in 1908 to produce wine and olive oil. Aged in stainless steel, with native yeast and very little SO2. Delicately dry, with strawberry, spice and an underlying minerality.
