Joseph Magnus was a savvy businessman, who painstakingly built up a liquor empire by the time he was 26. Prohibition halted production, but the brand was reestablished by Joseph’s great-grandson in 2015.
This straight bourbon whiskey was distilled in Indiana & Kentucky (likely at MGP), is aged in white oak, then finished in Oloroso & Pedro Ximenez sherry and Cognac casks.
Rich, deep, & dark, with vanilla, orange citrus, dark chocolate, brown sugar, stone fruit, & cherry pie filling. Incredibly smooth, balanced, & nuanced with a warm, lingering finish.
