Joël Falmet & his brother Yves took over this family-run domaine in the early 1990s. They are one of the few Champagne producers to use a solera system for the reserve wines each vintage. As wine is pulled from the vin de reserve, a little fresh wine is added back in to the solera, which significantly adds to the depth & complexity of the Champagnes.
Grapes grow non the slopes of the nearby Rouvre-les Vignes, and are farmed with biodynamic & sustainable methods. “Les Parcelles” adds 30% wine from the solar to the current vintage. 42 months on the lees, with just 9 g/L dosage.
Rich & full-bodied, with aromas of red fruit. The palate brings fresh apple, rich yeasty notes, & hints of citrus before a bright, crisp, lively finish
70% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, 10% Chardonnay. RM. Sustainable.
