The Dogliani subregion of Piedmont is prime Dolcetto territory. The clay & chalky white marl soils produce a fuller, softer expression of the grape than you’d find in the rest of the region.
Aged all in steel, you’ll find it’s full of ripe & dried cherry, blackberry, raspberry, and plum fruit, framed by savory notes of wild herbs, licorice, tobacco, iron, and earth. The grippy, well-integrated tannins show off a beautiful minerality on the lingering finish.
