Janko Bogatič began working alongside his father in the family vineyards at age 10. He focuses his 9 hectares of vines on the slopes around Ritoznoj on lesser-known grapes, showing they can produce stunning wines with a little love & respect.
17 year-old Rumeni Muškat (aka Yellow Muscat) grows on steep slopes of marl. Spontaneously fermented, aged 7 months, then another 18 months on the lees in bottle before disgorgement.
Zippy & bright, with floral notes of orange blossom & honeysuckle evolving to fresh white peach, cantaloupe, & tangerine-filled bubbles.
