From a single, southeast-facing plot of Pinot Noir high above the village of Savigny les Beaune, planted in 1981. The shallow soils, old vines & cool nature of the site yield beautiful, highly nuanced & perfectly balanced wines.
Destemmed & naturally fermented, it’s aged 12-18 months in a combination of mostly neutral barrels (up to 30% new depending on vintage) & vats.
Silky, balanced & concentrated, with notes of red & dark berries, pomegranate, black pepper, damp earth, woodsy spice & forest floor. The purity of the fruit captures the perfume of summer berries & finishes with soft, silky tannins.
100% Pinot Noir
