On October 18th, 1963, Félicette became the first (and thus far only) cat to travel in space. Decked out in a custom spacesuit, the stray Parisian tuxedo cat jetted 130 miles above the earth on a French Véronique AG1 rocket, soaring high above the Sahara Desert. When she returned to earth less than 15 minutes later, she became an instant decorated national hero.
From hot, dry, Mediterranean hillside vineyards in Occitania near Beziers, grown on a mix of sand, silty, chalk, and clay. Grapes were destemmed, macerated, and aged in steel.
Inky and impenetrable in color, like the vast void of space, but just juicy and playful as the name suggests. Lots of playful, chillable, crushable violets & red fruit aromas, with raspberry, plum, toasted spice, and mineral notes on the palate.
70% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mouvèdre
