Fifth generation winemaker Fabien Jouves took over his family’s estate in Trespoux in 2006. He has since expanded to 30 hectares and converted the vines to biodynamic farming.
Named for the French pun “tu viens plus aux soirées” (you are not partying with us anymore), this wine comes from 2 hectares on calcareous soils at 350m altitude. After whole cluster maceration for 7 days, the wine spontaneously ferments in a combination of cement vats & neutral barrels, where it then ages for 6 months.
Super fresh, with dark, ripe plum & black currant. The herby spices, earthy nose, & great acidity are lush & inviting on the velvety, round finish.
50% Malbec, 50% Cabernet Franc. Biodynamic. Natural.
