“The Big Boss” is sourced from a single 3rd generation family estate in La Meseta, on the elevated, high plains desert of Castilla y León.
Trellised vines are farmed from the south-facing, sloping vineyard, located within a mountain bowl. Farmed with sustainable & organic methods, the grapes are harvested early for a fresh expression of fruit. Traditionally fermented with native yeasts in cement.
Fresh and round, with ripe cherry, plum, red berries, white pepper, and dried herbs. A stony minerality and mocha notes play with soft, fresh tannins that allow the purity of fruit to shine.
