The Cereza grape (meaning "cherry") was once one of the most planted in Argentina, but it is now a bit of a rarity. It's a thick-skinned varietal that produces light, fresh reds, like the "Cara Sucia," which could almost be mistaken for a claret. True to its name this wine has oodles of cherry notes, but also complexity thanks to spicy notes of thyme & pepper.
