The Delaunay family has 9 hectares of organic Cabernet Franc plots in Bourgueil, Chinon, and Saint Nicolas de Bourgeil.
“Les Graviers” comes from 35-50 year-old vines on clay-heavy soil over loose, porous gravel. Destemmed & fermented in concrete for 18 days. The wine then ages in concrete tanks for 9 months.
A full & rich palate of blackberry, bell pepper, chocolate, smoke, & herbs. Layers of spice and juicy red fruits lead to a supple tannins & an elegant, tender finish.
