Brothers Patrick & Vincent Soard took over their family’s estate in 1988, and have been working to refresh & expand the estate ever since. Their vineyards are scattered over 7 communes in the Rhône, all farmed with organic methods.
Grapes grow on various parcels surrounding the Mont de Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail on limestone-clay & sandy soils. Spontaneous fermentation occurs in stainless steel tank, and the wine remains on the lees for 4-6 months in tank until bottling. Partial direct press, partial saignée.
Perky & vibrant, yet richly textured, with notes of strawberry, peach, raspberry, and nectarine. Refreshingly clean & focused, with vivid fruit & a light, mineral finish.
