Insouciant dredlocked Spanish winemaker Laura Lorenzo created this phoenix from the ashes of a nearly ruined 2018 vintage for her Gavela, Erea and Azos wines. Spontaneous fermentation; 10 days' skin maceration; reared 11 months in chestnut; bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with low SO2. A bright, tangy one-off wine with red fruit and some barnyard funk. Flash in the pan? Or bolt from the blue?
