From a 20 hectare vineyard of 25+ year old vines grown on clay & gravel soils. Hand harvested, then fermented and aged in cement, with no oak. Full of black and red fruit, plum, and blackcurrant, with a hint of smoke and herbs. Well-balanced, with roundness and charm from the Merlot, while the Cabernet Franc brings a fresh minerality, before a finish of powerful and supple tannins.
