The Mangot vineyard has been producing renowned wines since 1556. Today, the third generation of the Todeschini family works the land, focusing on the health of the soil & vines. The 16 hectares of vines are organically farmed on clay & limestone soils. Aged 10-12 months in used 225L & 400L French oak barrels, with no additives except a minimal amount of sulphur at bottling.
Rich & savory, with plum, dark cherry, blueberry compote, cassis, rose and coconut, with a hint of eucalyptus. Savory notes of toast, smoke, graphite, leaves and coffee mingle with a lingering spicy, oaky finish.
70% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon
