In 1995, Jean-Baptiste & Charlotte Senat left Paris for Minervois, the land of their families. Two decades later, they have become pioneers in the natural winemaking scene in Minervois.
La Nine (“little darling”) is one of the Senats' oldest cuvées, a classic Langeudoc blend from vines up to 100 years old grown on clay-limestone. Whole-cluster pressed, spontaneously fermented, then aged 10 months in tank.
Dense, concentrated, & powerful, with blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry, & cherry followed by garrigue, spice, licorice, cedar, & delicate florals.
Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre. Biodynamic. Organic. Natural.
