Widely considered one of the finest producers of sherry in Jerez, Emilio Lustau’s origins date back to 1896, but didn’t start exporting until the 1950s. Airen grapes are single-distilled in a short column still, the aged using the solera system to integrate very old brandy with the vibrancy of younger spirits. Aged at least 10 years in used Amontilllado and Oloroso casks. Walnut, nougat, toffee, sweet cooking spices, vanilla, roasted figs, coffee, and caramel.
