The Sladić family has made wine in the small village of Plastovo, just 10 km south of Sradin in the Krka National Park, for generations.

Lasina is often called the Pinot Noir of Dalmatia, since the rare native grape is similarly light-medium bodied, low in tannins, high in acidity, and notoriously difficult to grow.

The small village of Plastovo is the perfect microclimate for Lasina. Vineyards sit 250-300 feet above the sea, where cooling breezes from the nearby Adriatic help preserve acidity, aromas and flavors. The diverse, limestone-based soils bring a lovely minerality to the wines.

Aromas of cherry, red currant, dried violets, and roses with a touch of white pepper and earth. Silky smooth tannins frame a tangy, tantalizing acidity. Aged in neutral Slavonian oak for 14 months.

Lasina. Organic.
